Reverse: 1999 - Artificial Somnambulism: All Limbo Stages Clear (July 16th-31st 2024)
It's finally time for this Artificial Somnambulism with the second half of July 2024 to be done...and it felt harder than usual across the board, don't get me started on 6-2...but I will have to go over that later!
I went over the earlier stages with lesser invested units like Sweetheart, Desert Flannel, Centurion and Druvis III, and there were times where I failed so I had to up the ante with stronger units to the point where I think I had to give it my absolute best, which there were times where it wasn't always enough on the 6-1/6-2 stages, especially the latter. There was also a focus on Reality units rather than Mental, which is why you don't see Melania here this time.
6-1 was a typical example of me trying to pair up Isolde with Spathodea as they go well together for the Burn stacks. Also part of this clear was Tooth Fairy (who I wonder if I could have saved for the next stage or not, but oh well) and Shamane as the Beast Afflatus debuffer who was the assister. I needed to try this a few times as I wasn't sure how exactly to go about this stage since the enemies seemed strong. Maybe Melania would have been easier while I was raising Isolde at the time, but meh, it's done now! I was a bit disappointed at some mistakes I made in the video though, like an incantation moving one, and accidentally failing at keeping everyone alive (I'm sorry Isolde...), but yeah, it is what it is.
6-2...here we go. This was an absolute pain. The enemy 6 and 37 were disgustingly tough to take down. I initially went at this trying to take down 6 first, but that just wasn't hacking it. It got to the point where I had to look at YouTube videos on how to do it because it was that bad. I think there might have been one that used this team (replacing Yenisei with Tooth Fairy maybe?) and the team I used was Bkornblume, Jiu Niangzi, Jessica and Yenisei. Anyways, this was required me trying to take down 37 first before she uses her Ultimate which serves as a buff as trying to survive her follow up attack would be a pain too. I needed a bit of luck because I wanted to make sure Jessica's Ultimate was in play before 37 got to use her Ultimate. However, even when 37 is down, 6 will still be a pain, because with his buffing, Eureka gauge and Ultimate, he can still easily wipe a teammate out, which happened a lot in my attempts. Some other stuff like Bkornblume's Ultimate's Silence effect was handy for buying an extra turn, but it's still scary to try and withstand the Eureka-powered Ultimate. I really wish I had everyone survive, but oh well, what can ya do? At least clearing up the signs laying around only lasted 2 turns. when I was close to not making it in 12 turns.
I don't know if these will get harder as more characters come, I'm nervous about not being able to clear them all if there are any harder ones than this one's 6-2. We'll see though. For now, I'm just glad this was done, even though it was a tougher journey to get there!
