Animaniacs "Warner Law" opening with actual "L.A. Law" theme!
55Today is the 30th anniversary of the premiere of one of my all-time favorite animated shows: "Animaniacs!" One that I've loved since childhood, and just gets better as I get older, thanks to the innuendos and such designed to go over kids' heads. This bit from the early episode "La La Law" was how I first learned about the 1986-94 drama series "L.A. Law", so I thought I'd take it and replace the soundalike theme music with the real thing; an epic orchestral piece by Mike Post! I also LOVE that Tokyo Movie Shinsha animation, especially the wipe transitions and how their Helvetica-typeface titles would look.
Happy 30th anniversary the Warner siblings, Dr. Scratchansniff, and all the rest of the gang!
