27We unbox the upcoming kickstarter game, Riot at the Round Table by IMP Powered Games! Riot at the Round Table is a Arthurian-themed card game where players take turns being the defender, fending off attacks from all other players to be the leader of Camelot. It plays 2-6 players and takes 45-60 minutes. It is inspired from the Russian game Durak that can be played with playing cards, and added more mechanics with different decks and a different theme.
IMP Powered Games reached out to us to review their game, Riot at the Round Table, which will be hitting kickstarter on May 26th, 2020. They spent three years working on this game, so I was pumped to unbox it. Shelfside is undergoing a shelter-in-place due to the virus, so Ashton unboxes this game by himself with the help of some clorox wipes. We hope that everyone out there is gaming safely away from the pandemic!
