Clicking Recommended Videos Until I Find Board Game Content
19Being as esoteric as they are, board game content is pretty niche and specialized content, so how hard is it to find it for a new youtube account? In this video I’m going to open an incognito tab, meaning that the home page is going to be a fresh slate; full of what youtube would probably show to an entirely new account. This means the feed is going to be blasted with standard mainstream content, so how hard is it going to be to navigate the recommended feed until I find board game content, admittedly a more niche hobby?
The answer is actually not that long, I was worried that this video would be an hour long but as it turns out, I’m pretty good at gaming the system. Thankfully, not only do I do the tabletop, but I’m also very well versed in the youtube ecosystem and numerous gaming content creators. Jumping around from sources like IGN and Razbuten, all the way to Joseph Anderson and Angry Joe, I basically ended up going through the guys who were essentially my youtube watch history for the last few years.
