"Rise of the Tomb Raider" is the 2016 sequel to 2013's "Tomb Raider", both of which were developed by Crystal Dynamics, a badass American game developer responsible for the entire "Tomb Raider" series, the awesome vampire action platformer series "Legacy of Kain", and motherfucking "Gex" on Nintendo 64 and Playstation. "Gex" is literally so dope I can't take it. Stop reading this and go play it.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is the continuation of Lara Croft's journey to clear her family name and prove to the world that her late father wasn't actually crazy. Unfortunately there's a lot of nameless goons, ancient tombs, and surprisingly smart plot twists standing in her way.

If I had to review Rise of the Tomb Raider in a sentence, I'd say it's one of the best games in the series. If I had to preview Rise of the Tomb Raider in one sentence, I probably should have before the game came out.
