It's a worthy port so far, BUT...

Let me qualify all of this by saying that I've never played this game all the way through, or even very far. It's always been short bursts.

It has everything you look for in Road Rash. Lots of ways to bash your opponent, lots of guitar, and on the 64 this is a very smooth racer. It's way better than the older versions when it comes to that. It feels ever so different, though. It has that 64 feel and that doesn't seem to mesh well with what I expect. I can't explain it. It's just weird. I'm also not sure how I feel about tracks feeling so short, either. I'm used to a slight marathon battle where getting to 1st is a challenge and one crash turns it into a nail biter. With this...it feels like you cruise to first and bounce off of 2-4 for a minute...then it's over. If you crash, you instantly fly back up the ranks to do it again. I race what...4 races in this game, and including menus it's only 8 and a half minutes? That seems very off.

Also, I turned off the music because I wasn't sure how easily that would cause this video to get flagged. I threw up the volume at the end to experiment with an idea, though.
