Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon - Nintendo 64 (1997)
1If only I had realized before playing that the camera controls involve a combination of R + D-Pad, then I probably would have enjoyed this a lot more. I tried everything except that, and it was my only complaint the entire time...so I guess there's nothing left to do but praise it.
It's not Ocarina and it's not Mario 64, but it's very fun adventure that slots somewhere in between. It's even better than you'd expect from the sequel (at least to English speakers) to the SNES game. The music is pretty much perfect, the controls have their hitches but you're only punished with a little bit of wasted time when it happens, and the graphics are very well done. Really, this belongs in your library if you can find it. The last time I checked, it wasn't that expensive, but that could change in a hurry.
