8A brief play of "Blue Max" (with commentary) on the C64, a 1983 release by Synapse Software, originally released on the Atari 400/800 computers.
I never really played this much back in the day - only once or twice, which is a same, as I'm utterly enjoying this one.
Whilst it may look like a simple arcade game, there's actually quite some depth to this one - in needing to actually take down specified targets, in being able to strafe targets (by keeping to the right height), and even a simplistic damage system.
Despite being a fairly early C64 game, this is one which is some great fun, and well worth checking out.
