A play (with commentary/thoughts/review) on Beamrider, a 1984 release by Activision on the C64.

I certainly put some time into this back in the day - I've not played the original Intellivision version, but this is a great little shooter on the C64.

One of the things I really appreciate is how the game introduces new elements & enemies at a rate which feels controllable - whilst I eventually got to Sector 15 (out of 99), I felt I wasn't overwhelmed with new things as I played it.
