Daily Poem: I’ll forget this moment and what drove these words. Another night lost to time, one more feeling that slipped from memory as swiftly as it came. Insignificant and important moments alike, like I’m living between lightning strikes with the occasional thunder that I sometimes hear echoes of. I don’t feel good enough. I don’t want to fish for pity, the bait is too high of a price to pay so maybe I’ll keep this all to myself. But the thought of a lucky break or random spark of genius is my hubris.
