Another worthless copyrighted video from me. But it is about the basic and reliable Rockchip RK3399 SoC used by less than conventional Linux users.
The tests might not be optimal since they are done on a *modified* version of Firefox instead of Chromium spoofing 2 threads instead of 6 (2x A72 and 4x A53). But well, all three are using such a browser.
The Rockchip specific kernel from Alpine is in use with the SBC's normal RK3399 and the OP1, which is the same, except clocked higher. The OP1 uses the LTS 6.2.0 kernel while the SBC is on the latest stable.
The Arch Linux OP1 uses only the basic AArch64 kernel ALARM provided. And for some reason. Only half the performance...
I wonder why exactly.
