A mockup video on a economical dual GPU Ryzen desktop
Once again, a dumb video.
This time, I spent 3 days putting together laptop boards on eBay, before changing to using a cheap T740 thin client.
I made a bet with myself that if I win, I buy the T740 and the accessories. But if I lose, I will use a VisionFive 2. And I lost.
Anyways, that is good, while the T740 with a PCIe and a M.2 riser to accomodate a Tesla P4 and a Tesla K80 is quite powerful. I already have better computers, and so shopping to see if I can do it economically (but not time saving) is the fun. No real point in having it.
The VisionFive with a single Tesla K80 can't hurt as a experimental computer anyways.
Anyways, those are mockups for the primary parts of the machine, smaller accessories aren't counted in here.
The Lum Classic.
