Noob's thoughts on music 3 - Anime girl voices : AI usage test.
I am a noob that decided to go through pitches by ear... and this was done during a day in which I WENT THROUGH a sleepless night.
Yes, it is more of a test video whipped up in a couple of hours using text generators, voice generators, and well... It's quite misleading considering that I use notes like G5 as a placeholder to indicate pitch...
And yes, the voice generator is very imperfect. Tons of voices are lost here... and it generated a random voice at one point.
And gosh, the prompting and control here is terrible, of course.
Original Transcript : Now it's onto Makino Yui. Yes, that guest of honor that was invited to perform at various cultural exchanges.
She does actually have classical singing abilities through, and possibly classical training.
Most anime girls are given a high mezzo-soprano voice as it gives a sense of gentleness, youthfulness, brightness, and is rich in detail. I will say A4-5 (~550Hz) because I guess speaking voices generally do sound like that.
Something like that definitely fits Mizunashi Akari through.
A3 : 220 Hz
A4 : 440 Hz
A5 : 880 Hz
Should cover the vocal range for many young bishoujo anime girls.
Jeez, I don't really know how to describe things huh? I could estimate pitch by ear. A gentle bishoujo have a very homogeneous texture, avoiding breathy or rough sounds too. That means a bit of head voice (I see they (the seiyuus) don't open their mouths too wide to avoid excessive jaw drop or wide mouth too).
Well just keep in mind for a noob. ~500Hz is generally a pleasant voice.
Ultimately it does have to go to the singer's own traits... I said KOKIA's lower range is very expressive, while her higher range is clearer.[
