Greetings one and all to a realm of commentated videos where I essentially critique a wide variety of games that I have enjoyed not just thoroughly, but also enable a high level of creativity in some form to make the experience special for me to talk about!

Fast forwarding a good few years later, late in 2019, I finally got around to recording all the fun shenanigans I got up to during my return to Rocket League not long after my return when, in October of 2017, I mysteriously became unbanned and was able to push forward with my third PSN account, DestinyNukem, he who was once permanently banned for all of 5 months and was strangely (but most fortunately!) given a second chance to make things right, which was about as good a time as any seeing how this was just a few weeks after Virtue Power and the lesser-known 'DestinyNukem' on my dear-loved Old School Runescape became permanently muted, psychologically forcing me into a year's hiatus as a long-term break from that game, heart-aches and all!

Now, obviously it is a tad strange to cover a game like this a good few months AFTER you've essentially quitted the game for good, though the reasons why is primarily to do with such a huge focus on gaining as many of the most valuable tradeable items in how the focus of Rocket League went from who was the most skilled alongside generally having fun with friends and the game itself being relatively simple and easy to get into without any fuss with money-temptations of the debit/credit card kind, now becoming this monetized mess that the dreaded 'Lootbox' parasite infected Psyonix as they themselves thought it best to funnel much of the most-valued dollar, euro and pound from many a willing, eager or desperate (depending on whom you speak to here) customer in order to simply 'look good/stylish' whilst playing football with also similarly-fancy cars now gambled with from one of numerous crates instead of bought straight from the DLC store at a moderately higher price. (To be fair, I did eventually buy three of those DLC cars that I initially dismissed as being 'outrageously-priced' once I had some spare cash from a 1 year purchased PS+ membership, although from what I hear the curse of the 'crates' on Rocket League here is no more, following Epic Games acquisition, although considering they now charge a premium for much-desired goods here, well...)

All gloomy stuff asides, I do get quickly into the first of five epic matches that I'll fondly remember for years to come here, where I get to show off my prowess at Rocket League in it's finest form, and what better way of demonstrating that than here on YouTube? Both with the commentated version and the true-to-form one that, although lacks any commentary so to speak, does show off a more 'cinematic' version of events much like what I did with some others in the past, the likes of which can be seen right here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZB4jAhetRU&t

Intriguingly enough, there is a prominent graphical glitch of sorts displayed here in that my car in this recording of the original footage is clearly an orange-bronze sort of colour with the blue trimmings showing a little bit of confusion for some I'm sure, (though really it is to contrast the other main colour in spectacular fashion) yet in the replay recorded specifically to show this off to YouTubers alike in a more cinematic fashion the cool Dominus GT car is now a more prominent bright yellow-gold colour. Why this occurred in ONLY this footage here and nowhere else is beyond me, but alas it's a 'first' in more than just one way here!

Anyhow, with four more left to cover, I reckon the path for the remaining two videos of this Critique Commentary here is quite clear at that and where it leads to!

In any case, I hope you enjoyed the video and any constructive comments or criticism is appreciated!
