In order to unlock the Maybe Wax Doesn't Melt achievement, you need to start a run, and during that run, you must find and take the Icarus' Wings Bargain oath relic. This will allow you to fly by jumping again in mid-air, but at the cost of taking 75% extra damage from all sources. This can get you killed pretty quickly if you aren't prepared, so increasing max health will really help with this. I would also recommend using the samurai class if you can, as it made this much easier since you are not locked in place when you swing your sword while you fly, which deals a lot of damage, and has a really far reach. Use this to your advantage by killing enemies through walls when you have the chance!

Anyways, once you have the Wings, you need to make it to the Sun Tower biome. The enemies here are tough, but with the wings, at least the huge rooms with rotating hazards and purple clouds become VERY easy, as you can just fly around instead of relying on spin kicking off of the rotating hazards. Make your way to the Boss room, and once you use the warp portal (or whatever they are called), and you are dropped at the sun where the Boss' lair is, the achievement will unlock!
