Rolling Line Ep. 20 (Pt. 2) - Kwaku from Thomas & Friends - "Doubt it. I’m A Drifter"
The name of Part 2 is a quote from the Spongebob episode ‘No Weenies Allowed’, when another sponge - though not actually Spongebob (despite looking exactly like him) is trying to get into the same club that SB wants to go to. The Drifter - as he calls himself - has black hair in a fancy style, which isn’t actually a wig. The bouncer suspects it’s the real SB, and while interrogating, the real SB shows up with a very unconvincing rainbow wig. I suggest you watch No Weenies Allowed to get a better understanding of what I’m banging on about.
That’s enough Spongebob chatter for now, back to Rolling Line. In Part 2 of this video, we do some shunting at the second station, which begins with Kwaku fetching his coaches and shunting them into the platform. This did not go without a hitch, as I kept forgetting to check the points were set. This caused Kwaku to drift across two tracks, the drifting resulting in the name of this part of the episode. After this drama, the Big Boy shunts her wagons into the siding. I tried to uncouple the Big Boy and drive it into another siding, but for some reason the game wouldn’t let me slide the engine away from the wagons.
Once all that mayhem in the yard was sorted out, Kwaku goes for a run around the layout, which took a little bit longer than I was expecting. I tried running the train at full speed, which caused all the vehicles to glitch through each other when I was on the approach to the big yard. You get to see me sorting out this mess, which didn’t take that long (fortunately). Part 2 ends with Kwaku arriving at the station next to the big yard.
