This is how I currently handle my modded Minecraft environment. I got a question how to best run and install mods. I don't know if this is the best way (probably not), but for me this has worked fine for quite some time and it is the only way I run modded Minecraft at the time of releasing this video.

I didn't plan out the crash log thing, but I kept it since I wanted to demonstrate that things might not be perfect even if I usually don't have problems :)
