Have you ever wondered what it would be like to run a TCG like combo deck in EBF5? No? Well, here's something no one asked for: the Arcade Rush in 13 turns where I torture my characters with an overdose of chili pepper and work my Viking Monolith slave to death.

This is definitely a bit too long to be considered a "quick kill" strat, the footage you are seeing has been speed up by 10 times. Even at the very fastest execution with no misclicks, it'd take me about 9 whole minutes to do. I definitely wasted way too much time on figuring this out and even more due to making stupid mistakes during recording, typically about 10 waves in.

Trying to rush through a long sequence of enemies is totally different from OTKing one boss. You don't have to worry about the aftermath when dealing with one wave, but you now need to have one (or more) spare move left to use Viking Monolith, freeze the next wave, whatever. Starting with TOTOMs in wave 8, every foe has complete immunity to lockdown effects and must be dealt with consecutively in a single turn to stop them from getting a turn, which I somehow manage by burning through literally everything. At least CORALIA's moveset can be abused, thank god. While the turn count goes over 10, due to the fact that only CORALIA and THE MAW actually manage to get some attacks off (and fruitless ones at that) make it feel like you're playing a single, very long extended turn.

About practicallity, this requires that you own the RAM Chip flair which is the reward of this very rush, so you definitely can't use the exact strategy to beat it first time. You could beat it on a low difficulty and duplicate the strat to get the epic medal, though due to using 10 chili peppers, one has to be sourced from Gigalith or stolen from the Devourer if you do not have access to the 100% Medal room. If you aren't looking to duplicate the setup exactly, there's things to take away such as effective status boosting (freeze in particular) and damage stacking with compromise.

What I find quite funny is the fact that this is close to a ideal team composition, with 2 Offensive characters, Buffer/Debuffer Natz and Status Anna. The only major role missing is a tank, which isn't really needed since the entire strat focuses around locking down the enemies as much as possible.

I'd like to end on a very important PSA for everyone playing EBF5: AUTOSPELL BAD LV5 BLUE ELEPHANT BAD LV3 OFFICER'S COAT BAD
