Pirates! Just that sound of that word, sends Admiral Valorian into a rage.
Having stopped the bleeding of funds and hearing reports of the ever-growing "NEW WORLD," settlement of the BAY OF NEW HOPE. Valorian thought his troubles were for a time- dealt with. He was wrong!
Having been forced to engage the JORGENSEN Administration for ownership of FUR ROCK ISLAND. had resulted in victory for Valoria. but it also meant the loss of more than a hundred brave sailors and officers. The only choice: RECONSTRUCT the Fleet and in the nick of time...
For as the newly arrived supplies from NEW HOPE sailed closer to Valoria. ANNE HARLOW- a name that keeps flooding the newspapers. ATTACKED! Aiming to stop the supplylines from the outlining islands of FUR ROCK and ANDROSS HEIGHTS. Something needed to be done...
Signalling the Armada to prepare for sail. Admiral Valorain took command of the Flagship VNS KRAKEN. Along with the WELLINGTON, JUSTICE and 4 other ships. Aiming to teach Harlow a lesson to NOT upset or fire upon any Valorian Naval Ship. The Admiral ordered the guns to open and sank Harlow's ships straight to the bottom of the ocean. A one way ticket to Davy Jones Locker, as cannon after cannon fired; resulting in the Pirates wishing they stayed on land and never dreamt of the sea. But the job was not finished yet.
Desiring to wipe the Pirates out at its core: HARLOWS HEADQUARTERS and the LAIR OF SCUM and VILLIANY. The Admiral gave the order: "BURN Harlow's Base!" The Valorian Armada set sail.
But thats was the easy part. The events that followed was much harder to bear. What unfolded soon after the Armadas arrived was utter destruction and choas. A story that will haunt the memories of those that lived, to the ends of time and would remind the Valorians: NOT TO UNDERESTIMATE PIRATES! For 6 Ships left the safety of the Dockyards of Valoria. Not one ever returned...
Having escaped the carnage that unfolded within the depths of Harlow's Base. Admiral Valorian, once more set to work reconstructing the Fleet. However this time He knew his lesson.
But there were other needed ventures that needed his attention. having lost the "FIRST BATTLE of HARLOW." The Admiral and Governor of Valoria set to work organising supplies within Valoria itself and also within the settlement of the Bay of New Hope; a settlement that was quickly growing into the main base of operations within the "New World." However it was not until a famous piolt came forward that the full impact hit. The request for the construction of AIRSHIPS had arrived. Keen upon discovering these "Mechanical Wonders of Engineering." Admiral Valorian sent orders and dispatches to the Bay of New Hope and with it granted premission to accomplish ALL needed projects regarding this task. Hopeful in unlocking a tactic not used by Harlow ot the other Lords.
Meanwhile, back in the Capital of Valoria. The ADmiral gazed out the window of his study and wondered what exactly would happen next? Viewing the growing city before him. He knew that there would be a time that the choices he made, would not sit will upon others. That decision being: WAR!
Returning to his seat. Valorian looked at the paperwork in front of him, that covered every inch of his desk from left to right.
"All I ask and hope is that what I am about to do... is not held against me!?" said the Admiral picking up his quill and resuming the mountain of papers before him.
