Saints Row: The Third is pretty awesome, and it should come as no surprise that the designers of Red Faction Guerilla's open world destruction know a thing or two about how to create a gameplay experience which is first and foremost about having a lot of stupid fun. Everything about the story, settings, dialogue, weapons and gameplay mechanics in SR3 is blatantly absurd but don't let that fool you; the writing is sharp and clever in ways you might not expect. Also, a game that lets you storm a gang-controlled penthouse from the air while accompanied by Kanye West's "POWER" clearly has more style and confidence than most Grand Theft Auto clones combined.

By the way, don't blame the blatantly sexualized female main character on Volition; everything about her appearance was customized by yours truly (messing around with the standalone pre-release character creator, I was clearly going for some kind of intentionally outlandish comicbook vibe).
