Rocksteady's ingenious, deceptively simple combat mechanics were already very involving and occasionally quite demanding in Arkham Asylum (at least if you wanted the fights to look *good* as well as get those addictive multipliers going), and Arkham City ups the ante by throwing even more enemies at our caped crusader at the same time and making various gadgets and special equipment important when dealing with crowd control. Also, the inclusion of the faster and even more agile Catwoman as a playable character brings some additional variation to the formula.
