Saints Row: The Third (Gameplay #6) - Space Jam [ENDING]
Rather unexpectedly, Saints Row: The Third's main story ends with a mission which is basically one gigantic tongue-in-cheeck reference to the Red Faction series (maybe Volition had those Mars textures lying around and didn't know where else to put them now that RF is officially dead?).
My verdict on SR3 is that it's a fun diversion but also slightly overrated. As much as I enjoyed the wild creativity and intentionally stupid humor which characterizes so many aspects of the third Saints Row game, it's impossible to overlook the generic GTA-style design of many of the game's missions (the campaign-related ones as well as the side activities), and the actual third person shooting and driving is average at best. SR3 is definitely worth blazing through just to see the craziest weapons and customization options as well as experience the most memorable story-related moments (which are truly wonderful), but as an open world game it does little that is unique or especially engaging in the long run.
