Twenty minutes of gameplay from the 2000 Dreamcast and arcade update to Samba de Amigo, which only saw release in Japan. Randomised Gaming takes a look at the various modes in game, starting with the challenge mode, followed by two download songs in original mode (Daytona USA & Outrun), then we test out the love mode to the After Burner music and finally a ten minute look at the volleyball mini-game.

Samba de Amigo Ver. 2000, features a number of extra songs and modes not in the original release, it also adds in the character Amiga. The main gameplay is also improved with the additional task of hustle added during the songs. It also received an arcade release in Japan and was being looked at for a US release named Samba de Amigo 2001 before being cancelled due to Sega of Japan's infamous decision to axe the Dreamcast.

If you own a set of the Dreamcast maracas, this is well worth tracking down as it is easily the best game that supports them.

Samba de Amigo Ver. 2000, is not available on any other format. However an updated Samba de Amigo game was released on the Nintendo Wii.
