Cosmic Smash / コズミックスマッシュ - Sega Dreamcast - Intro & Arcade Mode Gameplay [HD 1080p]
Gameplay and opening intro from the Japanese Sega Dreamcast game Cosmic Smash a direct port of the arcade version. Sega crossed Virtual Tennis with Arkanoid/Breakout, the end result is a very slick sport and puzzle game. The home port didn't arrive till 2001 and at which point it was to late for a western release. Worth tracking down a copy if you are a fan of Sega's arcade games, visually it reminds us of Rez with its art style, look and feel. The whole game is against the clock and will take some time to master.
An excellent arcade title and a nice new take on the genre, multiple routes and stages in-game keep the challenge fresh. Even if the game is a little short and doesn't feature much extra content. With the recent https://csmashvrs.com/ website turning up it looks like a remake, sequel or VR project is soon to be announced.
