In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be playing the Samurai skull with a basic attack focused build! Samurai is one of the if not the heaviest hitter in the entire game, and this is thanks to his skill Full Moon Slash. Full Moon Slash is an upgraded version of Single Slash, a skill he always has (much like Rider's Bike) which when his passive meter he has is full then turns into Full Moon. This is how most Samurai runs are built; big damage, big Full Moon Slashes, dead bosses. However, I take a different approach here by building around his basic attack! This may sound odd, because Samurai's basic is fairly weak, however it is naturally fast, and this allows me to first of all, get my debuffs on the enemy that appear on them as you damage them with Samurai's skills/basics which power up Single/Full Moon Slash very quickly, but ALSO allows me to deal lots of damage quickly with my items that proc with basic attacks. Also, in typical Haxa fashion, I focus my run far more on magic damaging items of this variety than physical, which may be shocking to some, but trust me it works. Rider is the partner skull of choice here, how will these two fair when built around a strategy they aren't normally known to use?
