Scalpers are still snatching up PS5s

PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles are still incredibly hard to buy and scalpers are still likely a big part of the reason why. A new scalper group has emerged, called Carnage, boasting that they snatched up 2,000 PlayStation 5’s from UK retailer GAME. They even commented about how easy it was.
Meanwhile, a Mortal Kombat pro was banned from a tournament for taking a small jab at NetherRealm Studios. TitaniumTigerzz changed their Sheeva variant name to “WhyDidNRSdothis?” mid finals during the Mortal Kombat Pro Kompetition: North American League - NA West Week 2 indicating some of Sheeva’s kit is overpowered and easy to use. In an unprecedented move, TitaniumTigerzz was banned on stream mid-match and the rest is FGC history.
Overseas, the EU is fining Valve, Bethesda, Capcom and others for geo-blocking and it could cost the companies upto $9.4 million dollars. Valve alone is looking at a $2 million dollar fine.
Another Bloomberg report has come out detailing working conditions leading up to the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 and includes internal testimonies about the mindset around the game. Believe or not, a lot of Cyberpunk’s developers did not feel the game was ready for a 2020 release.
Lastly, there was a fun tweet exchange between Greg Miller of Kinda Funny fame and Naughty Dog Creative Director Niel Druckman in which the latter said, he would be interested in working on Half-Life.
