Imagine being Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider or even Nathan Drake from Uncharted scouring the planet for important ancient artifacts and relics. In the same vein, Scarabya is a tile placement board game where players search the globe for some cool ancient scarabs from the Arctic north to the hot desert and humid tropical jungles, players will be selecting from a range of polyomino tetris style game tiles and attempt to create excavation areas by surrounding the scarabs pictured on their game board spaces.
It is a puzzle to try and see who is most efficient at placing their tiles so that they can score points based on the number of scarabs in an excavation site multiplied by the size of the excavation site.
The player that can do this the most efficiently and effectively earns the most points and is declared the winner of the game.
