Have you ever wondered what it like to be a bird enthusiast, collecting, discovering and attracting birds to your aviary or becoming an ornithologist… no I hear you say… well neither have I … but now you can in this competitive engine building bird acquiring board game with a feathersome theme… where the aim is to feed the birds as Mary Poppins would say, lay some eggs and expand your bird collection to gain the greatest number of victory points possible to win the game.

Similar to other tableau and engine building games like Gizmos and Terraforming Mars, players build a tableau or board of actions that increases in its impact and complexity across a game. As players attract birds to their habitat that will gain new abilities that are triggered every time a habitat row is activated.

Players can build an engine that focuses on storing or caching food resources, or one that facilitates the production of eggs or even one that allows players to draw more and more bird cards. Each bird has its own distinct and unique abilities and effects. It will be up to players to discover good bird synergies and combos as players build and fine tune their engine.

In the competitive variant, players are racing to compete goals that get scored at the end of each round. In addition, players will also try and fulfil secret objectives that will hopefully garner them some vital end game points.
