After a gruelling tour of Afghanistan, the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards have celebrated their homecoming on the streets of Edinburgh.

Although the unit is based in Germany, the Regiment's home headquarters is Edinburgh Castle.

Hundreds of people lined the Royal Mile to watch them march past.
