71 years after the iconic Dambusters raid in 1943, the famous 617 Squadron, has disbanded at RAF Lossiemouth in Scotland.

They disbanded alongside 12 Squadron who also flew the Tornado.

However they expect to be resurrected in 2016 when the new F-35 Lightning II is ready to fly.
