Been trying to optimize my levelling technique.

This is a run where I didn't get Etched Sigil at level 33. Getting Etched Sigil should shave a good 15 minutes off the overall time. Plus it helps for the post-70 grind. I do another example run where I do get Etched Sigil here (1hr32min overall time): https://youtu.be/LWR7xwkQ94U

I goit lucky and got vit on my reduced level weapon in this run, which helps speed up the 40-70 process a bit as you can run a difficulty or two higher at times. Ideally you'll want your reduced level weapon to have int, vit, and life per hit (this removes life per kill from the secondary pool which makes it far easier to get level reduce on rerolls) along with a status effect secondary. Don't waste too many mats trying for this though, you probably only want to do about 5 crafts. If you get lucky and get both an Etched Sigil and an int + vit + lph reduced level weapon, you should be able to get to 70 in under 90 minutes.

My general strategy has just been to do Temple of the Firstborn on T1 until level 22 (unlock Teleport and Disintegrate), then run for the cube, back to Temple of the Firstborn until level 33.
At that point I gamble sources hoping for Etched Sigil. Note that it's critically important to be exactly level 33, lower than 33 and you can't get Etched Sigil, at level 33 there are only two sources in the pool, and at a level 34 there are a bunch more added. If you spend your 475 shards from the Challenge Rift at exactly level 33, you have a 62% chance to get Etched Sigil.

After that, I do a mix of Temple of the Firstborn and Fields of Misery, bumping it up to T6 once I can equip my reduced level weapon and dropping it down a bit as it starts to get harder (the mid 50s get tougher, and then there's another big jump at level 61). If you have materials left at level 61, you can craft a few level 61 items at the blacksmith. Level 61 items have much higher stats than sub-60 items, and will really help for levelling from 61-70.

I kept track of my materials and gold at the start to make sure that I didn't use more than you would get from the Challenge Rift (300 whites, 300 blues, 100 yellows, 35 DBs, 15 of each bounty material, and 4.6 million gold). Levelling the artisans fully costs 2 DBs and 953,000 gold so I subtracted that off too to simulate levelling them. You'll notice also that once I get the cube I convert 100 whites to yellows. You get some extra white materials levelling but you don't get too many yellows, so converting an extra 100 will really help as you can craft a few extra item upgrades while levelling.
