Secret TEST level & other glitches in Super Mario Advance 2 (GBA) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
11,190In Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance, there are a few ways to access the secret hidden Test Level, and here's one of the easier methods.
For this glitch to work, you'll first need to unlock a good portion of the map, which you can do by playing through the game normally.
Once your somewhat far into the game, go to the Forest Ghost House in the Forest of Illusion. Then, press Down and Select at the very same time, and your Level Select menu will open up. Then, choose 4 Ludwig's Castle. If you did it correctly, Mario (and Luigi) will warp to Ludwig's Castle, and Mario will start to walk diagonally southwest across the map in a very odd fashion. It will take around 25 seconds, but eventually Mario will stop at Yoshi's House, and the top of your screen will say Cookie Mountain.
Once you're there, just press the A button, and you will access the secret Test Area! There's not a lot here. There's a secret hidden 1-Up and some blocks that spell out the word TEST, and an arrow pointing down a pit, which is basically the only way to leave the area. But hey it's kind of neat!
After jumping down the pit, Mario will end up back on the overworld, and this level will no longer display a title. At this point you can do further weird stuff:
If you press Select to open the Level Menu, you can then press Right twice, then Up three times and hit A. Now you'll be at a weird version of the overworld and the opening music will play.
OR you could press Select three times and press A on the Level Menu and this will bring you to a weirder version of the overworld. Either way, you can press A to go to a bonus game that Mario cannot leave from.
