See stress patterns (in transparent things) without (extra) polarizers! VIDEO
A bit of spontaneous accidental physics! I just put my glasses on top of my tablet, and noticed a stress pattern!
You usually get this if you place a (transparent) object between two polarizers. Here, the light is being polarized by 1) the monitor, 2) reflecting from the tablet.
