I had a graphics tablet lying around, and I'd also seen a few videos about how to make a glassboard in OBS Studio.
But in the videos I saw, they made it seem almost too simple...there were some (literal) rough edges, and following the advice to the letter might leave you with a glassboard you can barely see against the background. With just a little more time spent refining the basic idea, you can improve on it a lot. So I did.
There are probably many ways you could go about this, and there's no absolute right way or wrong way. This is just the way I went about it, for my preferences.
So whether you're producing teaching videos, or showing off to your colleagues on Zoom or Teams, or for some other reason you haven't thought of, hopefully you'll find this useful.
