Sega Golden Gun playthrough using a light gun. This contains English voiceovers and point controller offscreen to reload.

Sega Golden Gun is a 2010 arcade light gun game by Sega. The story revolves around two college students on a trip to China when the city they're in is suddenly attacked by mystical creatures.

I used "Game Loader All RH 296" and "TeknoParrot_1.33" with the Sega Golden Gun game files. I used a combination of different settings to get the game operating in the way shown. I did not use an English voiceover patch.

I extracted and installed Game Loader inside the "exe" folder of the extracted game files directory and manually edited the TTX.ini. I checked "English" in "Loader Settings 1" tab and unchecked "Enable pause function" for alternate reload by lightgun button/right mouse button in "Other 3" tab, among other things. For better graphic and offscreen to reload, I used GPU to perform "full-screen" scaling in NVIDIA Control Panel in addition to some other settings set in the Game Loader Config which should be shown in the video (check Full screen mode in "Window Size" tab, 1920x1080 for Window Resolution and also for Full Screen Resolution in "Loader Settings 3" tab, etc. Some may not be necessary). I don't have experience with AMD cards, but I would think there would be some equivalent scaling and resizing options for AMD cards.

I had to setup TeknoParrot via the "TeknoParrotUi.exe" and my settings for that are also shown in the video. I have some Xinput settings set and shown for Player 2 (This only works with a gamepad or something at the moment?), but I have to uncheck "Use mouse for lightgun games" in "emulation settings" or I cannot select Player 2.

The alternate reload by right mouse button/light gun button that I mentioned earlier by unchecking the "enable pause function" box in the Game Loader All RH Config is NOT ARCADE ACCURATE as the instructions state that you can reload by either (A) continuing to shoot via the light gun trigger or (B) by pointing offscreen. Unless you are using the Demulshooter patch, the crosshair will disappear temporarily ONSCREEN if you reload by right mouse button / light gun button. I'd much rather have some sort of option to disable right mouse button reload entirely by having that button not do anything rather than have a right mouse button which, when pressed, pauses the game completely.

I could not access test mode from Game Loader. Nothing happens when I try. Teknoparrot looks for "-t" or something in the game files directory or something, but I don't know what that is.

Exactly how I configured the Game Loader and TeknoParrot should be in the video, and what isn't shown I should have explained here somewhere in this description. A couple things about Game Loader All RH:

"Game Loader Installer.exe" for "Game Loader All RH" creates two files inside "C:\Users\USER PROFILE\AppData\Roaming\Game Loader All RH" called Language.ini and TTX.ini and also a hidden "Files" folder containing 67 hidden files, all of which amount to a little over 10 MB, and possibly something else in some other location that is needed for the Game Loader (I'm not totally sure. I just found this out because I tried copying the entire folder of files to the AppData/Roaming folder of a different Windows OS but the Game Loader said all of the files needed were not installed. Maybe everything was just configured wrong, but I don't know). Windows 10 Windows Defender tells me something different in that both executables "Game Loader All RH" and "Game Loader All RH Config" contain a trojan.

TTX.ini needs to be edited manually to get rid of message "...THIS LOADER IS A REAL VIRUS, IT IS NOT FALSE POSITIVES... etc."

Under "[IGNORE]", there is a "Warning=" line where you must type in "AGREE" in order to be able to run the executables "Game Loader All RH" and "Game Loader All RH Config"

I don't know how the Game Loader works exactly, but it does.

I assume the test mode, Player 2 mouse/lightgun control, etc. will work somehow, someway in the not too distant future.

I tried vJoy and UCR for Player 2 mouse control via vJoy device with DirectInput, but it was too slow for me and the mouse cursor didn't match-up with the crosshair (Maybe it was my settings?). Maybe the FarCry_MouseEnablerv3.0 will work for someone (It didn't work for me) ?
