I'd made a comparison of these two versions of Sega Rally before and a couple of commentators had, er, commented on how they couldn't see a huge amount of difference between them. At the time I hadn't started making 60 fps videos, and this previous comparison reduced the M2 Emulator to 30 fps.

But now, behold! see the true difference between the two!

Model2 Emulator running in full 60 fps, widescreen and upscaled into HD Vs the Saturn's low res 30 fps. Technically, this is a bit of an unfair comparison as the Model 2 Emulator has greatly enhanced how the original arcade version would've looked, by the fact it's in HD and widescreen, whereas the emulator I'm using to play the Saturn version doesn't do any sort of upscaling.

Now, I should probably point out here, that I'm not having a dig at the Saturn version or anything, Sega Rally was one of my favourite ever Saturn games and it still plays really well even now, just using a digital pad and it looked very impressive for the time. What I'm really trying to show here is what a, at the time in the mid 90's, gulf there still was between the arcade versions of a game and the home versions
