0The first battle against Jinx isn't really hard. This was my first attempt at it, so I came in kind of "unprepared" and my setup wasn't optimal in any way.
There appears to be more than one way to do this.
If you equip yourself with full offense (Attack Up Defense Down, Power Gloves, Cursed Ring), you can achieve pretty high damage per turn. The only downside is that you need a lot of Pick Me Ups, but that's pretty much the only issue.
Or you can take a more defensive approach, which is what I should have done. Use Bowser, and give your other two characters the Power Down Defense Up accessory and whatever else that can boost their defense as much as possible, and use defense-boosting items or Geno Boost, with one of those other two characters being either Peach or Mallow to heal damage, and you can certainly do it without dying. It probably takes a lot longer to win though.
My strategy was... pretty much nothing. I was just casually equipped with no plan. And I did it on the first try. Shows how easy the first battle is. The second battle, however, gets a lot harder. I tried it only once, died, and then moved on, so there is no video about it.
