Seijin Plays Super Mario RPG Armageddon Part 31 : Musty Fears' Flag Hunt & Knife Guy's Minigame
1My Super Mario RPG Armageddon playthrough is now coming to an end.
There are several reasons for this. Most primarily because Dark Kefka, the creator of the hack, has been keeping on working on the hack and updating it. And while the new versions are not yet available to anybody other than testers, the version I am playing is already outdated by quite a large margin. It's a similar situation as with my playthrough of FFT 1.3034, except for the fact that in the FFT 1.3 case, all the changes from version to version are logged, while the SMRPG Armageddon changes from the version I was playing and however it will be when it's finally released for good are all messy and not well logged, or not into details. In short, it's quite a mess, since I'm only playing a beta version anyway.
I decided to cancel it on a happier note (showing off the Monstro Town optional stuff) because I couldn't keep uploading at the same pace due to my monthly bandwidth limit, seeing as I was busy with other, more important things, which delayed my uploads, which makes the version I'm playing more and more outdated as it goes. Meh, don't try to understand me too much anyway. :p
To be honest, I have quite a few more videos recorded, but as I mentioned, I thought ending the playthrough on something like showing off optional content rather than abruptly during the storyline was a smoother idea. Anyway, that's about it. I had fun though.

As for the video's content, I show the new locations of the Musty Fears' flags. Needless to say, I looked for them "unrecorded" first. As a reminder from video 28, the clues were the following.
Greaper : "I hid my flag by a pink doll."
Dry Bones : "My flag's on top of my cousin."
Boo : "Mine's under a giant star."
I easily figured out the Greaper and Boo ones, but the Dry Bones' flag confused me for a while. Anyway, the pink doll is on top of Booster Tower, the giant star is obviously from Star Hill, and the Dry Bones' cousin is in the Sunken Ship.
While on the way to the top of Booster Tower, I played Knife Guy's minigame. It's a little bit boring, so you may want to skip that part. The item obtained from the Musty Fears is the Cursed Ring. It greatly increases attack, but reduces defense and magic attack by a lot. At first, I was confused and couldn't find the item I got. It took me a little while to notice that it was automatically equipped to Mario rather than just added in the inventory.
