Semi-Solid Platform with 5 nodons! As seen in Super Mario | Game Builder Garage Tutorial
Semi-solid platform is a common platform in Mario. It allows you to jump up from below. On the contrary, you can not do that with a simple solid platform.
Note that the limitation of this method is that it only suppports 1-player game. To support 2-player game, I am still trying to figure it out.
There are also other alternatives, which can be found from other's comments here: https://youtu.be/cFvUZAWubcI Thanks for joining the quiz! I have also learnt many other interesting alternatives from you. : )
Again, note that there are many possible solutions! There is no absolute right or wrong here!
=About Touch Sensors=
I should have chosen my word better! Different touch sensor locations does not mean a bug. It totally depends on what behavior of a semi-solid platform you want. If you want the character to hit the box at the side, put the location at the bottom. If not, put it on top. (See 5:01 for differences)
