Multiplayer Game Advanced Camera: Fit 2 Players (Smash Bros-Inspired) | Game Builder Garage Tutorial
For multiplayer games, it is essential that characters controller by the players appear in the same screen. In this tutorial, I show how to put both characters into the same screen by using advanced camera nodons: position and target cameras.
This style of camera can be seen in Smash Bros and multiple co-op side scrolling games like Mario.
=Q&A=
Q: Can we get a more accurate distance?*
A: Use L2-distance (aka. Euclidean Distance). I used that in https://youtu.be/RdBFugpuUX4.
Q: Why does my voice change through out the video?
A: Beginning = after finishing boba milk tea. Ending = boba energy runs out! Haha. :'(
