Everspace is a roguelike space exploration style game, with combat simulator elements, following in the footsteps of games like Freelancer, or Darkstar One.

Taking a moment to check out the ships on offer, and taking the Sentinel out for a spin, with zero ship perks invested. Ideally once you have begun to upgrade one ship, like the Interceptor, it makes sense to cash out a good run and then invest in some of the base perks for a new ship before using it, but I did want to demonstrate the experience of starting fresh. Also I did not think of it at the time...
