In this video, I share how you can separate tonal elements from noise elements in a sound. This is extremely useful for sound design. Using this technique, you can easily create sounds that are more tonal and therefore (potentially) easier for the ear to pick out, especially in a busy and crowded mix. PLUS, if you push the settings to their extremes, you can also create some really cool sci-fi sounds.
