This game has become a frustrating exercise in futility for me. And for a game I have already beaten multiple times, this is disheartening. There's just something off with me, or the game, right now that I cannot put my finger on. I am becoming more and more infuriated with the ambushes, the lack of health and ammo pick up (particularly safe ones), and the constant swarm of spawning enemies. And I knew what all that was going in. As I've stated, I've beaten this game before. And that's what I wanted to show, how much fun I had with the relentless bloodshed. But right now, it's just too much for me. Maybe my skills have slipped to that point. Maybe I'm just in the wrong headspace. But I hate seeing just how angry and unhappy a game I used to love is making me.
