This is the second attempt at part 31, due to having forty minutes of constant failure the previous attempt. I did pick up the scroll off-camera, which gave some practice in counter stance. Not ENOUGH practice, as the failures proved, but some. To show that that was required for the next area. And today I spend in that area, slowly save scumming my way forward. Just like the floating volcano day, this was a "win a fight, and run back to save" day as any one of the fights could end my streak (as was proven by the fact that I lost on the VERY LAST ENEMY of the map, fortunately after just saving after a three win streak). But I made some progress! I got past that area to the next save point, fought a miniboss.... and now things look like they're going to be EVEN HARDER!
