A wasted day today. We get minimal progress in, get Calintz through one map, see some plot, and then...

Well, and then the game derails me. You see, the dojo for Raul's style is there. And it's a good style. It's the only thing that makes him stronger than Calintz. So I want it for Calintz. So, ok, I'll spend the time to try for it, right? Shouldn't be THAT hard, even if I need to use my lowest level character. Oh no, wait, it lets me use Raul! Good. Get through the first fight, the second, the third, kinda tough but not impossible. The forth fight, whew, had to use a healing item, but I got it. Now just the master!

NOPE! Raul is useless. She attacks too fast and takes too little damage, and uses up all the chi, so that Raul cannot defeat her. So I have to use Azel. Because he has a counter on his Fuget form. Counter is how you defeat the master. Problem: There's no indication that I can see as to WHAT attack she's going to do when. And since, in order to successfully counter, you need the proper button inputs, that means that it's basically a coin flip. A coin flip that you can get wrong by not timing it right, and that I need to win 5-6 without losing two. Or possible without losing ANY to keep the attack up. So it's alllllll luck. And I failed, miserably. I may end up doing it off camera. But yea, THAT'S where I am stuck, trying to get the scroll for Calintz so that he can be powerful.

I hate this counter method. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
