Serious Sunday: AM2R - Return of Samus, & the strange case of Nintendo vs. its fans
This week, on Serious Sunday, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the release of the first Metroid, Luke takes a look at the newly released fan remake of Metroid II, AM2R - Return of Samus - And, in typical doom and gloom fashion, speculates as to the possible issues that could crop up in the wake of its release if Nintendo gets wind of the project.
With trademark and copyright being a major concern of Nintendo's, and their historic heavy-handed and hostile approach to anything that could even partially be considered to violate its IP rights, Luke worries aloud for a while about what dark fate may befall AM2R if we, the fans, aren't lucky.

Serious Sunday is a freeform roundtable discussion between the members of the Level 0 NPCs, where a specific topic is pre-selected by the group to be explored and discussed at length. Each of the NPCs approach the topic from both the perspective of a seasoned, die-hard gamer, and as creators of games themselves. Part freeform review, part critical analysis, part video game book club, Serious Sunday is where the NPCs take a step back and take a moment to give a serious look at something that is important to the industry, or games in general.
