Stardate 70069.1, Cadet Setia Sh'zhallass is just finishing up her time at starfleet academy, and stands to pass with distinction, if she can finish her final test administered by Captain Taggart. While barely resisting the urge to ruthlessly haze her starfleet cadet contemporaries, she takes her final test, shooting mostly defenseless virtual klingons, before getting ready to take to the stars on her first mission.

Star Trek Online is the official Star Trek themed Massively Multiplayer Online RPG, created by Cryptic Studios and published by Perfect World Entertainment. It went live in February of 2010, and is currently in its 6th year of operations, and still going strong. As of July 6th, 2016, STO released its Agents of Yesterday expansion, where players take on the role of characters within the Original Series, caught in the middle of a "temporal cold war".
