Serious Sunday: Switching it up - Weighing in on the Nintendo Switch
This week, after the recent Nintendo Press Conference and more concrete information surfacing about the Nintendo Switch and its initial offering to the public, Luke weighs in on the new hardware, its potential and presents some thoughts about how Nintendo hardware has been performing in the past, present and makes some somber observations about the current prospects the console has, with its release lineup and announced features.
Luke talks about Nintendo's self-styled positioning in the games market, and speculates as to whether it will be able to sustain itself on the children and family-friendly titles it has been focusing on alone. Some thoughts on Nintendo's policies, and how a relationship with the indie game dev scene might be its shining light.

Serious Sunday is a freeform, sometimes roundtable discussion between the members of Level 0 NPCs, where a specific topic is pre-selected by the group to be explored and discussed at length. Each of the NPCs approach the topic from both the perspective of a seasoned, die-hard gamer, and as creators of games themselves. Part freeform review, part critical analysis, part video game book club, Serious Sunday is where the NPCs take a step back and take a moment to give a serious look at something that is important to the industry, or games in general.
