Go to Power Plant #2 at the southern exit of the Nigh Plains to continue the story, this time around there shouldn't be any enemies. after the story conversations end you can pick up resources. If you have around 200-250 stats in everything besides HP/MP you won't get any worthwhile stat points from any wild digimon besides the higher-level Goburimon, Numemon, or Black Gabumon at the Power Plant #2 or the Old Cableway at the eastern exit of the Nigh Plains. At this point, if you have the guard ability (and some healing items just in case) then fighting these digimon will be the most efficient to increase stats while getting items and money. Try to fight 2v1 battles, fighting more than one doesn't increase the stat gains. Check which of your digimon has the aggro and have that one block when the enemy appears to attack. The timing is very lenient as the guard will activate even if your partner hasn't entered the guarding animation yet.
Return to the city to trigger some more story stuff where you learn your next objective. Kabuterimon at the Old Cableway is a hard fight, but if you block correctly its easily doable.
Head towards Logic Volcano via the western exit into the desert area, then take the southern exit to the Hallowed Hall. Ignored the Garudamon since it's way out of your league at the moment and just continue forward. The Gotsumon aren't worth fighting for stats, but you might learn some fighting techniques or get decent drops. At the end, however, you'll find Black Garurumon. One of the best enemies to grind up your stats. Currently, you'll probably need your special finisher moves to win this fight and guarding isn't 100% foolproof unless your attacking digimon has a long-range move since this Garurumon has an Area of Effect move. Train here for a little bit, but no need to grind for too long. Beyond this enemy, you'll find Logic Volcano.
