Set Hostname in OS X from the Terminal

The hostname in OS X often defaults to "localhost" or some variation of "ComputerName-local". If you want to set a different hostname that will be reflected at the command prompt, here's how to do it quickly with the hostname command.
To see the changes, you'll need to start a new terminal session either by opening a new window, restarting terminal, or starting a new shell.
